Y10-21/Y8-24/Y10-24 Highly Efficient Low Noise Induced Draft Fan

Y10-21/Y8-24/Y10-24 Series Low Noise Centrifugal Induced Draft Fan for Boilers are designed for (1t/h、2t/h、4t/h) industrial boilers using different qualities of coal and equipped with smoke exhausting and dust removal device. All industrial boilers with similar inlet conditions and right performance can use such blowers. But the air inlet temperature may not exceed 250℃. Dust removal device with de-dusting efficiency of not lower than 85% shall be installed before fans to minimize the dust content entering fans, improving fans’ service life.

Key Advantages:

1. For impellers, Y10-21, Y8-24 blower series use same parts (made of Q345(16Mn)) for impellers except for vanes. Y8-24 fan has 16 long front-curved vanes while Y10-21 and Y10-24 fans have 24 front curved vanes, namely, 12 long and 12 short vanes. All these vanes are welded between arc front discs and plate-shape backward plates and go through static and dynamic balancing correction, so they enjoy high strength and stable operation.

2. Air inlet- With convergent design, the air inlet is fixed to the inlet side of blower casing with screws.

3. As a part of the induced draft fan, the air damper is used to adjust the capacity of blower. Blower with fan No. 5 has disc vanes while blowers with No. 6.3-9 has petal vanes. Air dampers are radially installed before the air inlet. The adjusting range is from 0° (fully open) to 90° (fully closed). Looking from the side of the air inlet, the handle of the air damper is on the right side. For right rotation blowers, the handle moves from fully closed to fully open by moving from bottom to top. For left rotation blowers, the handle moves from fully closed to fully open by moving from top to bottom. Air damper has to be lubricated carefully to ensure its normal operation. The blower applies temperature-resistant (260℃) molybdenum disulfide lubrication grease for lubrication to ensure good lubrication under high temperature operation.

4. Driving system -It is composed of main shaft, bearing box, belt pulley, and coupling, etc. The main shaft is made of quality steel and applies rolling bearing, water-cooling integrated-design bearing box. Therefore, a water pipe has to be added and the water consumption varies with ambient temperature and is usually considered as 0.5-1m3/h. Equipped with thermometer and oil level indicator, the bearing box uses L-AN46 (Lubricating Oils for Total Loss Systems L-AN). The oil amount to be added shall be based on the oil level indicator.
